Gliss Master – Linear Doors
Gliss Master – Linear, designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C, brings precision, purity, and tactile depth to the iconic wardrobe system. Defined by its integrated hidden hinges and cushioned closures, the Linear door offers a seamless user experience that combines advanced engineering with understated elegance.
The façade materials introduce a refined palette of innovations: a new etched glass with a 3D striped texture adds depth and light interplay, while two new stopsol glass tones—silver and bronze—expand the visual vocabulary of the system. The same dimensional effect also graces the wooden finishes, which are fully customisable in the full range of Molteni&C colours.

Born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium, Vincent Van Duysen studied architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas in Ghent. Between 1986 and 1989, he gained valuable experience working in Milan and Brussels before establishing his own studio in Antwerp in 1990. His work seamlessly blends architecture and interior design, creating a symbiotic relationship between the two disciplines. Van Duysen’s designs for furnishings and accessories adopt an architectural mindset, prioritizing spatial awareness and the interaction between interior and exterior environments. By reshaping architectural proportions, he crafts designs that are pure, simple, and timeless, yet retain a tangible solidity and substance.
Van Duysen’s architectural practice has undertaken a broad range of noteworthy projects. These include his first venture into the Belgian hotel industry and an impressive portfolio of international work. Among his key projects are private residences in cities such as London, New York, and Milan, as well as offices in Beirut and Riyadh. He has also designed high-end commercial spaces in global capitals like Paris, Rome, and Hong Kong. Additionally, Van Duysen has collaborated with Molteni&C, creating iconic pieces such as the Gliss Master cabinet system and the Ribbon bed.

Featuring hidden hinges, soft-close action, and textural glass or wood façades, Linear offers an elegant, high-tech update to the Gliss Master wardrobe.
