Tobia Scarpa

Tobia Scarpa (b. 1935, Venice) is an acclaimed Italian architect and designer known for his refined, rational approach to form. A graduate of IUAV Venice, he gained prominence in the 1960s through collaborations with leading Italian and international design houses, including Molteni&C. His work spans architecture, product and furniture design, and restoration, blending technical mastery with poetic simplicity. Scarpa has received numerous awards, including the Compasso d’Oro for lifetime achievement in 2008, and his creations are held in major museum collections worldwide.
