Annette Lang
Annette Lang blends passion and creativity in the world of industrial design.
After completing her studies, she worked as a freelance designer for renowned names such as Matteo Thun, Antonio Citterio, and Sottsass Associati in Milan. She later became the assistant to Professor Richard Sapper at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart.
Today, Annette Lang runs her own design studio in Wiesbaden, focusing on the creation of household appliances, tableware, furniture, and medical products. For her, industrial design is first and foremost a mental activity—an ongoing process of challenging our familiar ways of seeing and interacting with the world.
Her work is a constant cycle of observation, analysis, concept development, and form-making. Annette Lang believes that design plays a powerful role in shaping society. It reflects our cultural roots and social values, has the potential to transform habits, and contributes to a better and more sustainable way of life.
For her, excellent design leads the way—setting benchmarks and inspiring the industry to innovate.
