Federica Biasi
Federica Biasi is a designer and art director based in Milan, where she established her studio in 2015 following a formative professional experience in the Netherlands that deeply influenced her design perspective and aesthetic sensibility.
Her practice explores the dialogue between design culture, artisanal craftsmanship, and industrial production, treating them as interconnected dimensions of the creative process. Working across furniture, objects, surfaces, and spatial projects, Biasi develops a design language rooted in material research, tactile perception, and formal clarity.
Experiences gathered through travel and the observation of diverse cultural environments inform a personal approach defined by balance, restraint, and essentiality. Drawing plays a central role within her process, becoming a tool through which function, materiality, and emotion converge into coherent forms. Craftsmanship and its translation into contemporary industrial production remain fundamental to her research, seen as an opportunity to reinterpret traditional techniques through a modern perspective.
Alongside her independent practice, Federica Biasi collaborates with international brands as both consultant and art director, contributing to the development of collections, creative direction, and product identity. This multidisciplinary approach has progressively established her as one of the most recognized voices within contemporary Italian design.
