Gliss Master – Grip

Gliss Master – Grip by Molteni&C offers a versatile and ergonomic solution for wardrobes with hinged, sliding, or flush sliding doors. Its signature feature is a die-cast handle, mounted directly to the door’s edge and available in two refined options: pewter or pewter wrapped in eco skin. The result is a tactile and elegant design element that enhances both functionality and aesthetics.

Designed to integrate seamlessly within the Gliss Master system, Grip also supports advanced internal configurations such as LED lighting bars, precision clothes rails, and smart storage modules.

Additionally, Grip can be paired with Molteni&C’s exclusive AIRCUB® IoT technology, which purifies wardrobe interiors via ionization and ozonization—removing up to 95% of harmful agents like bacteria and allergens. Managed through a dedicated smartphone app, AIRCUB® also releases refined fragrances, enhancing garment care and wardrobe hygiene.

Grip embodies a balance of industrial sophistication, tactile materiality, and next-generation functionality.

Meet the designer
Vincent Van Duysen

Born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium, Vincent Van Duysen studied architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas in Ghent. Between 1986 and 1989, he gained valuable experience working in Milan and Brussels before establishing his own studio in Antwerp in 1990. His work seamlessly blends architecture and interior design, creating a symbiotic relationship between the two disciplines. Van Duysen’s designs for furnishings and accessories adopt an architectural mindset, prioritizing spatial awareness and the interaction between interior and exterior environments. By reshaping architectural proportions, he crafts designs that are pure, simple, and timeless, yet retain a tangible solidity and substance.

Van Duysen’s architectural practice has undertaken a broad range of noteworthy projects. These include his first venture into the Belgian hotel industry and an impressive portfolio of international work. Among his key projects are private residences in cities such as London, New York, and Milan, as well as offices in Beirut and Riyadh. He has also designed high-end commercial spaces in global capitals like Paris, Rome, and Hong Kong. Additionally, Van Duysen has collaborated with Molteni&C, creating iconic pieces such as the Gliss Master cabinet system and the Ribbon bed.
