Helium Mini

Helium Mini, designed by Elisa Ossino for De Padova, is a modular lighting system that transforms light into a tactile, architectural element. Crafted from handcrafted glass infused with fine sand powder, its velvety finish and soft nuances create a poetic play of transparency and refraction. An internal aluminium structure ensures stability and seamless integration, while soft-touch black joints outline the lamp’s elegant geometry.

Available in table (250 mm height), suspension, and track-mounted versions, Helium Mini adapts fluidly to different spatial contexts—offering both singular light points and large-scale luminous installations. Its warm, dimmable light evokes an intimate atmosphere, while its modularity allows walls and ceilings to become dynamic, illuminated landscapes. Ossino’s design balances material richness with technological precision, creating lighting compositions that resonate with rhythm, softness, and architectural harmony.

Meet the designer
Elisa Ossino

Originally from Sicily, Elisa Ossino studied at the Politecnico di Milano and founded Elisa Ossino Studio in 2006. Her work spans interiors, product design, art direction, and set design, defined by geometric abstraction, monochromatic palettes, and surrealist influences. Her signature style creates a poetic interplay of light, objects, and space, evoking a sense of weightless suspension.

Her projects have been widely published and exhibited, including at the Triennale Design Museum. Recognized among the Top 100 Interior Designers by AD in 2019 and 2020, she also won the EDIDA 2020 Award for her Balnea collection for Salvatori.

Beyond her studio, Ossino co-founded Nume (a kids’ design brand), Officina Temporanea (a platform merging design and social issues), and H+O, a brand exploring new interior design languages. She also leads exhibitions in her Brera-based apartment gallery and teaches at IUAV University of Venice, focusing on interactive media for interior design.
