Picea

The Picea coffee table by Vincent Van Duysen brings sculptural clarity and organic inspiration to the Molteni&C Outdoor Timeout Collection. Crafted entirely from ceramic, its design takes cues from the Arctic spruce tree—Picea—translating natural strength and elegance into a refined outdoor piece.

With a gentle hourglass silhouette, the table offers a stable, widened base and a smooth circular top. This balanced form conveys a subtle sense of movement while maintaining visual simplicity and a unified monochrome presence. The design speaks to quiet sophistication, resisting ornamentation in favor of purity and proportion.

Available in three timeless colors—Ecru, Anthracite, and Merlot Red—Picea integrates effortlessly into any outdoor setting, whether as a standalone accent or clustered in dynamic arrangements. Compact yet substantial, it invites creative composition and elevates terraces, patios, or garden lounges with lasting elegance and tactile charm.

Vincent Van Duysen

Born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium, Vincent Van Duysen studied architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas in Ghent. By reshaping architectural proportions, he crafts designs that are pure, simple, and timeless, yet retain a tangible solidity and substance.

These include his first venture into the Belgian hotel industry and an impressive portfolio of international work. Among his key projects are private residences in cities such as London, New York, and Milan, as well as offices in Beirut and Riyadh. He has also designed high-end commercial spaces in global capitals like Paris, Rome, and Hong Kong.
