The R.I.G. Mirror, designed by Mikal Harrsen for MA/U Studio | Boffi, reflects the essence of the R.I.G. system—modular clarity, architectural logic, and refined materiality. Mounted on a melamine panel, the mirror is framed in powder-coated embossed black aluminum or liquid-painted aluminum with a brass finish, offering a tactile and visual balance of industrial precision and warm tone.

Available in multiple configurations—including round or rectangular formats, versions with a supporting rod, and options with integrated LED lighting—the R.I.G. Mirror adapts effortlessly to a wide variety of spatial compositions. The 24V perimeter LED bar (2700K) provides warm, ambient illumination, activated via a dimmable push-button with an integrated LED locator. Designed as both functional and structural element, the R.I.G. Mirror merges seamlessly into minimalist interiors, enhancing the bathroom or dressing space with compositional rigor and quiet sophistication.

Mikal Harrsen

In 2012 he established MA/U Studio together with Adam Hall. MA/U Studio is a brand with focus on
design that offer functional, timeless and minimalist furniture design of high quality.

“As a designer I live through visual impressions. A design object is to me like a picture to be developed
– the creative vision is captured mostly through the senses. I regard the design process as the
individual filter which I use when defining a physical form or object for this vision” – Mikal Harrsen.
With more than two decades of experience as an independent designer Mikal Harrsen has gained
solid know-how, and is recipient of several international design awards:
