For Ligne Roset, Ruché is the meeting point between the unexpected and the time-honoured. The unexpected lies in its solid wood structure—sleek and architectural—while the timeless aspect comes from the artisanal quilting, a true expression of the brand’s savoir-faire. The tall vertical supports and the soft waves of the padded covering blend together to create a delicate balance between strict linear form and inviting softness.

Ruché Bed low headboard
Like the Ruché seating, the Ruché bed is elevated from the floor by a slender, minimalist frame that supports a generously cushioned sleeping surface. Its headboard and bed frame are adorned with a distinctive quilting technique—an intricate boutis-style stitch formed by a crosshatch of broken seams. These alternating stitched and unstitched areas cause the fabric to gather and ripple gently, giving it a unique, organic look and inspiring its name: Ruché, referring to a ruffled or pleated fabric used as decorative trim in clothing.
