Fabian Schwaerzler, 1978
Swiss designer Fabian Schwaerzler trained as a metalworker before completing his industrial design studies at the University of the Arts in Zurich. From 2003 to 2005, he worked as an assistant to Maarten Van Severen at the designer’s studio in Ghent, Belgium. Schwaerzler’s work bridges artisanal craftsmanship and industrial production. In 2006, he established his own studio in Zurich, where he develops both series-produced pieces and unique, custom-made designs.
