Inside the iconic Santa Cecilia showroom, creative director Chiara Tombari, in collaboration with architect Giovanni Battista Gianola, created a refined architectural environment where kitchens, living systems, lighting and architectural partitions coexisted in a seamless spatial dialogue — an elevated interpretation of contemporary living.
2026 also marked an important milestone for De Padova, as the brand celebrated 70 years of design history, reaffirming its enduring influence through an aesthetic language that effortlessly bridges Scandinavian simplicity, Japanese sensibility and Italian sophistication.
Presented during Eurocucina 2026, the new XPL kitchen by Piero Lissoni for Boffi emerged as one of the highlights of the exhibition. Conceived as an evolution of the iconic Xila kitchen, XPL combines monolithic volumes, pure geometries and a soft curved detail at the edge of the island, transforming the kitchen into a sculptural architectural composition defined by materiality, precision and understated elegance.
Within the De Padova collection, Alberese Urban by Piero Lissoni introduced a more compact and versatile evolution of the Alberese XL system. With its modular structure, low horizontal proportions and relaxed sophistication, the project reflects the brand’s distinctive understated approach to contemporary interiors.
Among the most notable new pieces was also Hybla Soft by Elisa Ossino — a softer, more enveloping interpretation of the original Hybla sofa, characterised by fluid lines and a more sensual approach to comfort. Alongside it, Square Round reimagined the iconic Square sofa through curved geometries and softer silhouettes, introducing a more organic and welcoming presence into the living space.
The collection was further enriched by Blendy Slowtime by Omi Tahara, a sofa defined by its relaxed and deconstructed aesthetic, as well as Edda by Federica Biasi, an armchair inspired by the traditional Japanese floor seat and expressed through a quiet, essential design language.
In the lighting collection, Elisa Ossino presented Lantìa, a modular lighting system in fluted glass where light and material become sculptural elements capable of shaping atmosphere and spatial depth.
At the same time, ADL introduced new architectural systems including Galleria by Alessandro Munge and Aria by Yabu Pushelberg, reinforcing the group’s holistic vision for flexible, architecturally integrated interiors.
The new Boffi|DePadova collection is available through Àper, at the brand’s studios in Halandri and the Athens Riviera.
