Blendy Showtime

Blendy Slowtime by Omi Tahara reinterprets the original Blendy collection through a softer, more relaxed, and emotionally driven vision of contemporary living. Defined by generous cushions, oversized proportions, and fluid geometries, the system abandons formal rigidity in favour of an enveloping and instinctive comfort. The sofa becomes a place designed not only for sitting, but for slowing down — a domestic landscape where the body naturally finds its position within soft and unstructured volumes.

Inspired by the language of contemporary fashion, Blendy Slowtime embraces a more informal elegance, where relaxed silhouettes and deconstructed forms replace strict compositional order. Its broad cushions create a sensation of suspension and ease, encouraging freedom of posture and movement while preserving the visual refinement of the collection. The modular system allows open and flexible configurations that adapt naturally to contemporary interiors, reinforcing the relationship between comfort, intimacy, and architectural clarity.

More than a seating system, Blendy Slowtime reflects a different perception of domestic time: slower, softer, and intentionally unhurried. Through its welcoming proportions and understated sophistication, the project transforms the living area into a space dedicated to stillness, relaxation, and the quiet pleasure of simply inhabiting space.
