With the new Rolf Benz YOKO outdoor collection, dinner outside in the garden, drinks at dusk on the roof terrace or pool-side cocktail parties have never been so comfortable or flexible.

“Yoko” means sun, and the new outdoor collection is an homage to its Japanese name. Resting on an aluminium frame, the Rolf Benz YOKO sofas, armchairs, chairs and tables embody the pleasant lightness of the sun. Graceful and airy, the outdoor range is equally at home in urban and rural environments.
Toan Nguyen is responsible for its design. The internationally famous designer from Milan is esteemed the world over for his sustainable designs. He understands design as a discipline that is closely connected to the object and its meaningful use in the traditional sense of the word. Accordingly, he appreciates comprehensible forms and optimises manufacturing processes together with sensual materials and a strong emotional impact.
ROLF BENZ YOKO SOFA
- Toan Nguyen has developed a principle for the Rolf Benz YOKO sofa range that is formally impressive and ensures ultimate flexibility. On a seat frame with straps, upholstery, insertion plates and peripheral insertion brackets made of high-grade steel, you can easily design sofas, corner sofas, recamières, sunbathing areas or face-to-face situations with and without shelving – and redesign them again in the blink of an eye.
- Depending on the sofa size, the seat cushions are available in various lengths, the backrest cushions are attached and optionally enhanced with side section cushions or a side section bolster cushion.
- Rolf Benz YOKO is not only contemporary with a highly functional design. The sofa range offers especially luxurious seating comfort that Rolf Benz sofa lovers have previously only ever experienced inside the home. Rolf Benz has adapted this exclusive quality to the outside to make lounging under the open sky incredibly comfortable. All that with complete mobility and a wonderfully light, floating look!
Rolf Benz is known for playing with colours and materials, and this is also the case with Rolf Benz YOKO in many versions.
The sofa’s aluminium frame, available in three sizes, rests on elegantly curved legs and is coated with an anthracite powder coating. The other frames in the Rolf Benz YOKO collection are also based on this light material. The brilliant, subtly shimmering finish that was developed for exteriors makes the furniture robust and weatherproof whilst looking extremely elegant at the same time.
The soft, high quality fabrics in the cover collection are also waterproof and coordinate with the anthracite-coloured aluminium frame. In addition to classic looks, you can choose bouclé fabrics, expressive woven fabrics made from 3D yarn, or fabric combinations for the cushions and body. All covers are removable and washable at 30°.
The straps of the sofa frame and the cord of the weaving in the chair and armchair serve as decorative stylish elements and were coordinated with the colour of the pedestal in anthracite.
With the plates for the sofa, the coffee and the dining table, Rolf Benz YOKO elegantly and naturally blends in with the surroundings. They are available in Teak, Emperador Extra, Calacatta Smooth and ceramic Naturali Pietre.

ROLF BENZ YOKO ARMCHAIR
See, love, sit down. As an armchair, Rolf Benz YOKO has a wonderful emotional appeal. With its generous seat depth and backrest that is tilted ergonomically backwards, it’s a real feel-good, cosy armchair.
The frame has weaving made of thin cord that exudes an air of warmth. You are free to choose the covers for the seat and backrest cushions. A footstool is also available.

ROLF BENZ YOKO COFFEE TABLES
The Rolf Benz YOKO coffee tables are an homage to geometry: resting on cylinders of different heights and diameters, the table tops can be circular or square as you prefer. Customers can choose between a side table or coffee table in different dimensions.
The table tops are available in the usual materials, the base consists of aluminium in anthracite and supporting steel plates.

ROLF BENZ YOKO CHAIR
As a chair, Rolf Benz YOKO also adds a cosy ambience even in minimalistic settings. It combines the lightness of aluminium with the emotional aspect of weaving: the backrest and side sections are elaborately hand crafted with cord.
The ergonomically shaped chair is optionally upholstered with a loose cushion. You can also order an additional backrest cushion if required. The Rolf Benz YOKO fabric collection is available for the covers.
